Jocelyn,
Count me in for GIS/GPS related news. BTW when's the next deadline?

To add to my earlier suggestion, we can also divvy-up by geography if
professionals niches aren't enough- east/west/region/msa etc. We can
even include a summary of our meeting minutes.

My apologies for not being on the call recently - we're still not out
from under the merger, and I've been totally buried.

I would like to offer some wireless communications information for each
newsletter - nothing promotional, just information about what's
happening in various communities around the nation. Missouri is
creating a task force to enhance connectivity throughout the state,
Legislation was passed in NC to facilitate deployment of wireless
equipment on existing structures, the top 10 digital cities, Emergency
management grant programs, tele-health networks and the discussions at
the FCC etc.

If the leadership feels this might be helpful for the newsletter, I'd be
happy to provide it.

Subject: [APA-InfoTech Leaders] Newsletter Help

Hello Tech Division Leadership,
For those of us who weren't on the last call, it was discussed that a
better way to go about publishing the newsletter was to have one feature
article and several one-page blurbs in each issue. Essentially, each
one-pager would be a "state of the practice" kind of piece, highlighting
news, new tools, case studies, etc. and should have some images as well.

We are asking leadership to volunteer to consistently write these
one-page items in the following categories: GISWeb/Online Planning
ToolsPublic ParticipationVisualizationScenario Planning

You would be responsible for submitting your one-pager to me in advance
of each quarterly newsletter. Each newsletter will still be themed, and
your blurb should be aligned with that theme if possible.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you'd be willing to be
responsible for one of these blurbs categories--it's only one page every
three months! Please help us out!

Thanks in advance,
Jocelyn
