Don’t Forget Your Hotel Reservation! 
The APA-IL has reserved a block of hotel rooms at the host hotel.  Rooms go fast and the APA has secured an outstanding rate for as little as  $119 a night... don’t forget to book your room!

Blue Man Group - Last Call!
Registration for Blue Man Group will be closed at 5  pm on Friday 9-11. 


Social Events - details, details, details...
Advance registration is necessary for the social networking events prior  to the conference with the exception of the Opening Reception which is  included in your full registration. If you are planning to attend the  “Food for Thought” Ethnic Neighborhood Restaurant Excursion, the Saturday  Blue Man Group performance, or the Sunday House of Blues Gospel Brunch and  …. 
	* have registered for the conference, but did not register for the  extra social events earlier, please make sure to register this week. 
	* have not registered for the conference yet but plan to do so, please  be advised that on-line registration closes on September 15 and all  social events may not be available to you if you register that late. 
	* you are planning to register on-site at the conference, please be  advised the Friday evening and weekend social events will not be open to  you.

And, as an added bonus, you will be in Chicago  helping to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of Daniel Burnham’s 1909  Plan of Chicago!

Present your project, share an innovation, or lead an energized  discussion around a topic of your choosing at Friday morning’s  PowerPlanningPalooza event! We are especially interested in giving tables  to those coming from outside of northeastern Illinois. Architects and  historic preservation specialists are also strongly encouraged to sign on.
