Proposed sessions
include crime and socially sustainable communities, comprehensive planning, the
town and gown connection, water issues, the Southern Illinois wine trail, the
ways communities have successfully utilized TIF Districts and the Southern IL
University Saluki Way Project.  Presenters include Tom Henderson,
Executive Director of the Tax Increment Association and Kendig Keast
Collaborative.

Amtrak would be a good way to get there.  And since spring comes earlier
to southern Illinois than the rest of the state, this is an excellent
opportunity to schedule a week-end vacation in this beautiful scenic area.
