Your input is needed for the ethics session at the upcoming 2011 APA-IL State Conference!  We are seeking two types of contributions:

An actual case that poses an ethics dilemma. Send the actual story, and it will be disguised so that no one can tell where it occurred. Elements from several contributions may be combined. It catches the attention of the audience when the fictionalized scenarios discussed are not, in fact, fiction, but rather come from actual events in the lives of Illinois' APA members.
Questions regarding possible ethics issues.  The more tangible the question, the better. Suggested question topics:

What types of gifts are okay to accept, and under what circumstances.
Equitable compensation and work hour expectations.
RFPs, wired proposals, conflicts of interest, pre-bid communications, etc.
Working for conflicting clients.
Unethical requests by bosses (bosses may be planners, other professionals, or elected officials).
Hiring people you know.

Please send all cases and questions to: Rob Olshansky, AICP, robo at illinois.edu
