Please join UPPSA (the Urban Planning and Policy Student Association) for the 2nd annual Urban Innovation Symposium!!
 
Two–part event to showcase and inspire creative approaches to urban
issues among students and professionals across a variety of disciplines.
RSVP is required.

When: Friday, February 24th; 9:30am-1:00pm & 6:30pm-9:30pm
Where: Student Center East in the morning and the Elastic Arts
Foundation (Logan Square) in the evening

This two–part event will bring together pioneering professionals for a
series of presentations on innovative approaches to topics such as
creative place making, right-sizing cities, and cooperative methods of
development and community wealth building.

The morning presentations will showcase projects in the areas of
community development, physical planning, and cooperative strategies
from across the Midwest. In the evening, presentations will be delivered using the fast-moving, visually-oriented PechaKucha®  format.

Participants will have an opportunity to network with presenters and
fellow attendees over refreshments, including complimentary beer and wine.
