Dear APA-IL Members,
The AICP Code of Ethics calls planners to contribute their time and effort to
groups that lack adequate planning resources. As such, the APA-IL Pro Bono
Committee is dedicated to answering that call by connecting planners of various
expertise with communities and agencies that can benefit the most. The Committee
invites you to consider participating in an upcoming pro bono planning event.
Are you an expert in Comprehensive Plans? Land Use? Housing? Planning in the
South Suburbs? Please see the attached flyer for more information on the project
that we will lead on the evening of Wednesday April 16, 2014. If you are
interested in participating, do not hesitate and get your volunteer application
in! Please see instructions on the attached flyer and application for further details,
or contact Pro Bono Committee co-chair Lindy Wordlaw, AICP with any questions at Lindy.Wordlaw at elevateenergy.org.
Sincerely,
Lindy Wordlaw, AICP, Senior Manager, Nonprofit/Public Sector Programs
