[ApaMissouri] MOAPA Award Nominations are due in one week

Most of you know that the MOAPA annual conference is October 21-23 in
Springfield this year.  As with every year MOAPA would like to recognize
the fine work that Missouri planners do within the State and their
communities.  Please take a moment to think about this year's
accomplishments in your communities and/or organizations.  The MOAPA
Awards program is a great way to spread the word about projects
throughout the State, share your successes with colleagues, and to
receive recognition for efforts to make Missouri communities a better
place to live, work and play.  Also, please feel free to spread the word
about these awards to local citizens and professionals that you think
may be interested in submitting a nomination simply by forwarding this
e-mail.  Thank you. 

 

Attached is the award nomination forms and description as well as
instruction for submitting an award for Distinguished Leadership.  Award
nomination must be submitted this year by Friday, August 28th at 5 p.m.
We are asking that all award materials be submitted on CD or data stick
in pdf format, with the exception of the nomination form and statement.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me by any of
the means provided at the end of this e-mail.

 

Also, if you are interested in serving on the awards committee this year
please give me a call.
