[ApaMissouri] County Planning Statues

To the membership

 

We were SO CLOSE to getting our county planning statutes bill passed in
2008. We now have champions in both houses who are making it a high
priority in this legislative session, which started last week. Attached
are notices of two forums we are holding to discuss community needs,
planning, and the legislation. Please attend one of these forums if you
can.

Thursday, Jan. 15, 3:30 - 5:00

Monday, Jan. 26, 7:00 - 8:30
Fulton 

Please contact Bruce Wiggins (email and phone number below) if you might
be willing to contact a legislator or your county commission in support
of the bill. Legislators need to know of support for the legislation.
You will receive notice of bill numbers and times to contact people.
(Please contact Bruce whether or not you signed up at the State
conference in Oct., so he can simply add you to his email list.)
