Nebraska APA members,

The Omaha Planning Department is hosting another webcast put on by the
American Planning Association. I have approximately 10 spaces available,
first come first serve.

Please RSVP by Noon on Wednesday June 18, 2008.

Webcast details:

What: Planning Law Review

When: Wednesday, June 25, 2008 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.

Where: Omaha Planning Department's Central Conference Room.

Description:

It's the end of term for the U.S. Supreme Court. Find out how federal
and state courts shape planning. Learn about the legal precedents set in
the last year by Congress, state legislatures, and ballot box
initiatives. What actions will have influence across the country? Legal
experts explain how to deal with organized challenges to long-standing
planning tools. It's a program the planning director, planning
commission, and staff cannot afford to miss.

This program has been approved for 1.5 CM credits (Meets Law
Requirement). AICP planners must attend for the duration of the event,
complete the sign-in sheet for the site in case of audit, and claim the
credits using the online log at www.planning.org/cm.
