Hi Andrea,
Yes, I will be in Philly at the national conference and yes I would like to get 
together with other administrators to explore a relationship.
You and I met at the Indy APA midwest conference a couple of years ago.  At that 
time, I was just beginning as the IL APA administrator.  I early retired from 
NIPC in Chicago, working there for 28 years, so I’ve been around awhile.
The IL Chapter hired me (Chapter’s first administrator) in a part-time role.  I 
work 7-10 hours per week.  The Chapter is coming off its best State Conference 
ever, last October, where we had a total of 400 in attendance.  Our Board meets 
every two months.  This Friday, March 9, is our next meeting.  The Chapter is 
quite active with monthly programs, AICP training, mentoring, a leglislative 
committee, pro bono activities, the annual conference, and two active sub-state 
chapters.  We’ve transitioned to an all internet newsletter and have a pretty 
successful web site  http://www.ilapa.org/
Thanks for taking this initiative exploring getting us state APA administrators together.  Great idea.
