Subject: [ChapterAdmin] Chapter Administrator's Meeting in Philly
Greetings, Folks,
Molly Wirick from the PA Chapter has graciously got the go ahead for our
group to use the Host Committee hospitality suite for our meeting, if we
would like. She needs to know when we would like to meet. From my initial
survey it seems as if Tuesday 17 April works best, but ending by 5:30
probably, as some will be going to the Philly's game. I suggest late
afternoon. Does this work with everyone's schedule who is going to attend
national? Maybe 3:00 to 5:00?
Dick Lillie from the TX chapter suggested that we concentrate the discussion
on a few critical issues, rather than simply conversing informally. To that
end, would those who plan to attend send me (well, the whole list serve, I
guess, now that we have it!) a list of the 5 most pressing issues facing
your Chapter? We can refine the conversation a bit this way.
In addition, it would be very beneficial to me, and I assume others as well,
if we know a bit more about each chapter. I'd also suggest that everyone
prepare a quick and dirty summary of their chapters size, activities,
budget, etc. In fact, I will work up a short survey; you guys game? I'll
send that out under separate cover, but first we should ascertain whether
the Tuesday afternoon time slot works for the critical mass of conference
attendees. let me know.
Thanks,
