AICP has adopted the following policy:
The AICP Commission requests that entities soliciting planning
consultants follow a two-part RFQ/RFP selection procedure.

Airport Replacement Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the City of Hailey and Blaine
County, Idaho
Submittal Deadline: January 15, 2007
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the City of Hailey, Idaho and
Blaine County, Idaho are seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from
professional environmental/architectural/ engineering/planning
consulting firms to assist the FAA in preparing an Environmental Impact
Statement (EIS) for a replacement airport for Friedman Memorial Airport
(FMA) in the Wood River Region of South Central Idaho. The City of
Hailey and the County of Blaine acting jointly through the Friedman
Memorial Airport Authority are the Sponsors for this replacement airport
project. They will be receiving federal funding for preparation of the
EIS.
The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) package may be obtained by
contacting Lisa N. Emerick at 208-788-9003 or by e-mail at
lisa at flyfma.com <mailto:lisa at flyfma.com> . It also may be downloaded at
www.airporteis.com <http://www.airporteis.com/> . Interested firms
shall submit an original and seventeen copies of their SOQ to the
Airport Authority no later than Monday, January 15, 2007 at 5:00 p.m.
MST. SOQs that are submitted late or do not comply with the technical
requirements set forth in the Request for Qualifications will be deemed
nonresponsive.
