Request for Proposals - Consultant Services 

Trail Master Plan Update and Walkable/Bikeable Neighborhood Study
Park City Municipal Corporation (PCMC), Park City Utah
Submittal Deadline: September 28, 2006,

Park City Municipal Corporation (PCMC) is seeking the services of a
qualified planning firm to prepare a Walkable/Bikeable Neighborhood Plan
and update to the current Park City Trails Master Plan.

If you are interested in submitting a proposal, you may obtain the
RFQ/RFP as of September 11, 2006 from Park City Municipal Corporation by
calling Sharon Bauman at 435-615-5184 or e-mailing

A non-mandatory pre-submittal meeting will be held on Wednesday,
September 20, 2006 at 9:00 am, at City Council Chambers, 445 Marsac
Avenue, Park City UT 84060.

The deadline for submitting a proposal is Thursday, September 28, 2006
3:00 pm at the City Hall Offices - 445 Marsac Avenue, PO Box 1480, Park
City UT 84060. Park City Municipal Corporation reserves the right to
cancel or modify the terms of this RFQ/RFP and/or the project at any
time and for any reason preceding contract award and reserves the right
to accept or reject any or all proposals submitted pursuant to this
request for proposals.  Park City will provide respondents written
notice of any cancellation and/or modification.

Summary Sheet - Request for Qualifications/Proposals

Project:  Trails Master Plan (TMP) update to include additional language
or section describing neighborhood walkable/bikeable guidelines and
preparation of an Addendum to the TMP to define and prioritize a series
of required projects to ultimately make neighborhoods more walkable and
bikeable. Total project budget range is $100,000 - $150,000.

*	Location:  Municipal limits of Park City, Utah 

*	Requested Services: The selected Consultant Team will be
contracted to 1) review the current TMP and prepare recommended language
for inclusion of neighborhood walking and biking principles and
guidelines, 2) prepare assessment of existing trail and sidewalk
networks to identify needs or issues to be address, 3) prepare action
plan and list of walking and biking related improvement projects, 4)
prepare evaluation criteria and prioritize improvement projects, and 5)
facilitate public involvement and approval process. 

*	Advertisement Dates:  September 9, 2006 - September 13, 2006. 

*	Proposals Due:  Thursday, September 28, 2006, no later than 3:00
pm.  A non-mandatory pre-submittal meeting will be held on Tuesday,
September 20, 9:00 am, at City Hall, Council Chambers, 445 Marsac
Avenue, Park City, UT 84060. 

*	Nine copies of the proposal numbered sequentially from one to
nine on the upper right hand corner of the cover, and one copy of the
Professional Fee Schedule in a separate envelope attached to proposal
one, shall be delivered to Park City Municipal Corporation, Attn:
Jonathan Weidenhamer - Planner, P.O. Box 1480, 445 Marsac Avenue, Park
City, UT  84060. Proposals will not be accepted after the 3:00 pm
deadline.  

*	Selection Committee Meeting and Notification to Short-Listed
Consultant Teams: Tuesday, October 3,2006, 1:00 pm, City Hall. 

*	Oral Interview with Short-Listed Consultant Design Teams:
Tuesday morning, October 10, 2006, City Hall. 

*	Selection and Consideration of Award of Contract: October 19,
2006. 

*	Anticipated date of completion of study: February 15, 2007. 

Selected firm is required to execute a standard professional Services
Agreement with the City.
