Historic District Design Guidelines
The Borough of Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania
Submittal Deadline: October 10, 2006

The Borough of Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania is
soliciting written proposals from consultants to provide professional
services to assist in the development and printing of the Borough of
Mechanicsburg Historic District Design Guideline booklet. The Borough of
Mechanicsburg wishes to undertake a contract for the design, preparation
and printing of a publication that will describe and illustrate
Mechanicsburg's architectural styles, developmental history, contain
advice on common repairs to historic buildings, provide support for HARB
review, clarify review procedures and include an annotated guide to
Mechanicsburg's Historic District guidelines.

A copy of the RFP may be obtained from the Mechanicsburg Borough
Building - 36 West Allen Street, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, 17055 - or
by calling 717-691-3310. The RFP is also available through the
Mechanicsburg Borough web site at

Proposals must be received at the Mechanicsburg Borough Building at the
address listed above no later than 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 10, 2006.
Eight (8) copies of the proposal shall be submitted and directed to Tom
Ludwig, Chairman, Mechanicsburg Historical Architectural Review Board.
Packages containing the proposal and any related material must be
plainly marked on the outside in the following manner:

"PROPOSAL FOR THE BOROUGH OF MECHANICSBURG HISTORIC DISTRICT DESIGN
GUIDELINES".
