Request for Proposals - Consultant Services 

Waterfront Revitalization Program
Yates County, New York 
Submittal Deadline: October 27, 2006

Yates County, working in partnership with the Village of Penn Yan, the
Town of Milo and the Town of Jerusalem, invites qualified consultants to
submit responses to this Request for Proposals (RFP) to prepare a
Waterfront Revitalization Program for land along Keuka Lake and the
Keuka Lake Outlet Trail to the Main Street Bridge and along Cherry
Street in the Village of Penn Yan.  The partnership of the four
municipal jurisdictions has received a Quality Communities Grant award
from the New York State Department of State to undertake this program.

The Request for Proposals is available from the Office of the County
Administrator, Yates County Office Building, 417 Liberty Street, Penn
Yan, NY 14527, 315-536-5100,  <mailto:ycadministrator at yatescounty.org>

The partnership for the Quality Communities Grant award reserves the
right to reject any or all submittals, to waive any informalities or
defects in submittals, to obtain such supplemental information as may be
necessary to review submittals, and to accept the Request for Proposals
response that, in the judgment of the partnership, will be in the
partnership's best interest.

Responses to the Request for Proposals will be received by Sarah Purdy,
Yates County Administrator, Yates County Office Building, 417 Liberty
Street, Penn Yan, NY 14527 until 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, October 27,
2006.
