Whitewater Community Plan
County of Mesa, Colorado
Submittal Deadline: April 20, 2007

MDR-18-07

The Board of County Commissioners of the County of Mesa, Colorado by and
through its Director of Purchasing & Risk Management on behalf of the
Mesa County Department of Planning and Economic Development are
accepting proposals for the services of an individual or corporation to
assist in the implementation of the Whitewater Community Plan in
accordance with the terms, conditions, and proposed statement of work
contained in these proposal documents for this Request for Proposal
(RFP) number MDR- 18-07.

Proposals must be submitted by providing a response in accordance with
the terms and conditions and the statement of work, placed in a sealed
envelope bearing the return address of the proposer, and clearly marked
"Response to Request for Proposal Number MDR-18-07". Proposals must be
received at the Mesa County Purchasing Division, 544 Rood Avenue, Second
Floor, P.O. Box 20,000, Grand Junction, CO 81501 NO LATER THAN 2:00 P.M.
April 20, 2007.

The most responsible proposal or proposals will be determined by
criteria determined essential to Mesa County. The criteria are not
limited to the lowest proposed cost to Mesa County. Mesa County reserves
the right to reject all proposals, reject portions of any proposal, or
accept the proposal or proposals deemed most advantageous to Mesa
County. All proposals received are subject to negotiation prior to any
contract award.

This Request for Proposal is not a commitment to purchase, and any
expenditures experienced by the Proposer in preparation and submission
of the proposal shall not be reimbursed by Mesa County; nor does Mesa
County obligate itself with any action taken or cost incurred by
Proposer in responding to this Request for Proposal.

This bid will be non-exclusive. Mesa County reserves the right to
purchase any property, supplies or services
from other firms.
