Zoning Regulations and Zoning Map
Ravalli County, Montana

Deadline for submittals: August 27, 2007

Ravalli County is accepting statements of qualifications from planning
firms/teams to provide professional planning consulting services for the
management, assessment and preparation of countywide zoning regulations
and zoning map for one of the fastest growing counties in Montana. 

Ravalli County anticipates that the successful team will include experts
in rural and small town planning, zoning and subdivision code
development, and public participation processes. Consultants must have
broad and extensive knowledge in the development of user-friendly,
consistent, understandable, and clear zoning regulations. To help build
capacity, consultants are expected to work closely with the Planning
Department and Planning Board on this project. It is imperative that
consultants must have experience developing and implementing successful
broad-based public participation processes and collaboration with
citizens and public officials.
