Request for Proposals - Consultant Services
South Coast Rail Economic Development & Land Use Study
Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Submission Deadline: September 17, 2007
The Massachusetts Executive Office of Transportation and Public Works
and the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Economic
Development announce a Request for Responses for the South Coast Rail
Economic Development and Land Use Corridor Plan.
The purpose of this project is to develop an economic development and
land use plan for the South Coast Rail corridor. The plan will
recommend ways the state and municipalities can partner to maximize the
economic development potential in the corridor, create sustainable
development through land use change, and generate new revenues for
corridor communities and the Commonwealth. This effort seeks to
coordinate transportation infrastructure investments with implementation
of regional and local land use changes that will enable the Commonwealth
to sustain and build ridership and generate revenues critical to
financing the rail line.
To access the complete Request for Responses go to www.comm-pass.com
<http://www.comm-pass.com> . Click on the "Solicitations" tab at the
upper left.
Click the fourth bullet "Search for a Solicitation". Enter the keyword
"South Coast Rail" and click search. The page should reload with a
message across the top that 1 solicitation matched the search criteria,
click the message.
On the new page click the glasses ("View") at the far right next to the
amendment deadline. This is the home page of the RFR and all the tabs
list information about it. The RFR itself is listed under the
"Specifications" tab as an attached file.
