The AICP Commission requests that entities soliciting planning
consultants follow a two-part RFQ/RFP selection procedure. Click here to

Open Space Needs Assessment
Centre City Development Corporation (CCDC), San Diego, California
Submittal Deadline: October 25, 2007

Centre City Development Corporation (CCDC), an equal opportunity
corporation, is seeking a consultant team to prepare a Needs Assessment
for Open Space, Parks, and Recreational Opportunities for residents and
visitors in San Diego's downtown neighborhoods. The consultant shall
supplement existing demographic data, study and analyze existing and
proposed open space, and develop a program for the majority of existing
and proposed open space as specified in the task section.

Potential disciplines to be part of a team are: planning firms,
architects and landscape architects and public outreach firms.

Proposals from small businesses, disabled veteran-owned businesses,
women-owned businesses, firms owned by underrepresented ethnic groups
and local firms are encouraged.

There will be a pre-submittal meeting Thursday, September, 27 2007 at
8:30 am at the CCDC offices at 225 Broadway, Suite 1100, San Diego.
Subconsultants are encouraged to attend and network with prospective
prime consultants.

Deadline to submit a response is Thursday, October 25, 2007 by 4:30 pm.
