Request for Proposals - Consultant Services

Columbia Point Master Plan
The Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA), Massachusetts
Submittal Deadline: October 5, 2007

The Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) has just issued a Request for
Proposals (RFP) to prepare a Master Plan for Columbia Point. The purpose
of the Master Plan is to create a comprehensive vision and plan for land
use, transportation and urban design, and to coordinate major planning
and development initiatives currently under way on Columbia Point.
Specific topic areas include:  multi-modal transportation; utilities and
public services; transportation and utility finance; land use; real
estate economics; housing; urban design; sustainability; open space &
recreational resources; and project mitigation.

The RFP may be purchased beginning August 29, 2007 from the office of
the Executive Director/Secretary, Boston Redevelopment Authority, Boston
City Hall, One City Hall Square, 9th Floor, Room 910, and by making a
check payable to the Boston Redevelopment Authority in the amount of One
Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150.00) non-refundable fee. Only those
respondents who purchase a copy of the RFP from the BRA will be eligible
to submit a proposal. The BRA staff will be available to assist.

There will be a Bidder's Conference on Monday, September 10 at 2:00 p.m.
in the BRA Board Room, 9th Floor, Boston City Hall, One City Hall
Square, Boston, MA  02201.

All responses to this RFP must be returned no later than 12 noon on
October 5, 2007 to Mr. Harry R. Collings, Executive Director/Secretary,
BRA, Boston City Hall, One City Hall Square, Room 910, Boston, MA
02201-1007.  No responses will be accepted after the due date and time.
The BRA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
