The AICP Commission requests that entities soliciting planning consultants follow a two-part RFQ/RFP selection procedure. Request for Qualifications - Consultant Services

Comprehensive Lighting Design Plan And Guidelines 
Centre City Development Corporation, San Diego, California 
Submital Deadline: December 20, 2007

Centre City Development Corporation (CCDC), an equal opportunity contractor, is requesting qualifications from an architectural lighting design firm or a team of consultants to prepare a Comprehensive Lighting Design Plan and Guidelines ("Guidelines") that support and enhance the profile and experience of San Diego's downtown skyline and address specific areas such as neighborhoods, public places and parks, streetscape elements, public art and lighted signage. 

Subconsultant opportunities could include: 

*	Urban Design - Conducting lighting design analyses of physical building forms and elevations in the context of the downtown skyline, including the building crown, façade, public art and the spaces around buildings; master planning; and 
*	Public Art Integration - Understanding the integration of public art, lighting and the urban space; 
*	Public Outreach - Coordinating public participation and consensus building from a diverse range of constituents; and 
*	Project/Information Management: - Using administrative, graphic and web based tools to manage, disseminate and display information, including visual 3D computer simulation 

Proposals from small businesses, disabled veteran-owned businesses, women-owned businesses, firms owned by underrepresented ethnic groups and local firms are encouraged.

There will be nopre-submittal meeting since this a reissue of the original RFQ with a new Submittal Deadline.

Deadline to submit a response is December 20, 2007, 4:30 PM.
