AICP has adopted the following policy:
The AICP Commission requests that entities soliciting planning
consultants follow a two-part RFQ/RFP selection procedure. Click here to

Request for Qualifications - Consultant Services
Master Plan Update
Grand County, Colorado
Submittal Deadline: December 28, 2007
Grand County, Colorado, invites statements of qualifications for
planning services from qualified individuals or firms for the public
process for assisting the County in updating its Master Plan.
Evaluation of responding firms will be based on the following criteria:
* A statement of the firm's experience and qualifications.
* A general overview and history of your company, number of years
in business, number of employees, corporate headquarters location and
type of business.
* Contact information: Name, address, phone numbers and email.
* Contact of key personnel, their respective titles, experience,
and periods of service with the firm.
* Recent experience on similar projects for small to mid-sized
counties and how those similarities might relate to this project.
* Experience with innovative public process strategies.
* State whether your firm would be able to provide services
immediately if selected for this project and whether your firm would
plan to provide continuous services until the project is completed.
* State whether any of the project work will be sub-contracted.
If so, please list all sub-contractors to be used, indicate if they
would be immediately available to provide services, and provide names,
telephone numbers and agencies that they have worked with in the past.
* Provide names and telephone numbers of agencies that you have
worked with in the past.
Please furnish five copies of your submittal to Lori Clement, Planning
and Zoning Department, Grand County, P.O. Box 239, Hot Sulphur Springs,
CO 80451 by 5:00 pm, December 28, 2007.
The County Manager and Planning Staff will review submissions and
determine the type of public process best suited to the revision of the
Grand County Master Plan. Subsequent to this exercise, the County will
generally advertise a Request for Proposals (RFP), and will at that time
also specifically notify each party who submitted an RFQ of the
invitation for an RFP.
