Historical Preservation Plan
The Town of Hanover, Massachusetts
Submittal Deadline: February 9, 2007
In accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 44, Section 53G, and Chapter 30B, The
Historical Commission of the Town of Hanover is soliciting proposals for
Historical Preservation Consultant Services for creation of a Historical
Preservation Plan. Proposals will be received at the office of the
Hanover Planning Department, Town Hall, 550 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA
02339, until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2007.

Proposals may be obtained from Andrew R. Port, Town Planner, Hanover
Planning Department, Town Hall, 550 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA 02339 or
by calling 781-826-7641, between 8 AM and 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
Proposals will be publicly opened at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 13,
2007 by the Hanover Historical Commission at Town Hall, 550 Hanover
Street, Hanover, MA 02339. Proposals may be submitted for one or more
portions of the Scope of Work. One contract may be awarded for the
whole service (most desirable), or more than one contract may be awarded
if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Hanover.
The selected proposer(s) shall be determined by the Hanover Historical
Commission. Said Commission is expected to award a contract on or
before March 1, 2007. The Town of Hanover Historical Commission
reserves the right to withdraw the Request for Proposal; to reject any
and all proposals; and to accept any proposal deemed to be in the best
interest of the Town of Hanover.
