AICP has adopted the following policy:
The AICP Commission requests that entities soliciting planning
consultants follow a two-part RFQ/RFP selection procedure.

Preparation of Economic Development Plan/Market Study
The Village of Orland Park, Illinois 
Submittal Deadline: February 19, 2007

The Village of Orland Park, Illinois is soliciting Requests for
Qualifications to prepare a Strategic Economic Development Plan/Market
Study.  Orland Park is located 25 miles southwest of Chicago and has a
population of 60,000.  Known as the commercial center of the Chicago
Southland suburban region, the Village was recently named by Money
Magazine as one of America's Best Places to Live.  Candidate firms must
demonstrate proven expertise in community/economic development,
strategic planning and market research/analyses.  

To receive a copy of the RFQ requirements, interested firms should
contact the Development Services Department; 14700 Ravinia Avenue;
Village of Orland Park, Illinois; 708-403-5300.  The RFQ is also posted
on the Village's website - www.orland-park.il.us
