Master Plan and Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
The City of New Orleans, Louisiana 
Submittal Deadline: August 9, 2007

The City of New Orleans, through the City Planning Commission (CPC), is
seeking innovative proposals from qualified firms and professionals to
complete a new Master Plan and Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance (CZO).
The Request for Proposals (RFP) appears on the City's website (select
City Planning from dropdown menu) at www.cityofno.com

This proposal is a three-part process.  The first part requires
Respondents to submit general background information about the firm, the
project team, experience and references.  Part two requires Respondents
to submit a detailed work program proposal.  This description must
address every aspect of the scope of services as specified in the RFP
and must include all services recommended and/or to be provided by the
Consultant(s). The third part of the proposal is the cost analysis to
complete the Master Plan, the CZO and the corresponding Zoning Base
Maps.  Costs must be listed in detail itemizing each component of the
work program and each phase of the planning process which includes
organizing, plan production, edits and distribution, stakeholder/public
hearings and plan adoption.  The cost analysis should also include
hourly rates, travel, office setup, meetings, etc.

Interested firms and persons must submit ten (10) copies of their
proposals by 4:00 p.m. (CST), August 9, 2007 to:
