Request for Qualifications - Consultant Services
Real Estate Economics Consulting Services
San Francisco Redevelopment Agency, California
Submittal Deadline: August 17, 2007
The Redevelopment Agency of the City and County of San Francisco (the
"Agency") is seeking Statements of Qualifications from all real estate
economics consulting firms ("Consultants") to establish a panel of firms
qualified to provide a variety of real estate economics evaluation
services to the Agency on an on-going, "as needed" basis, over a
three-year period. Consultants will work on a variety of real estate
transactions in any of the Agency's redevelopment project areas or
survey areas.
A selection panel comprised of Agency staff will evaluate the Statements
of Qualifications received, check references provided, and conduct oral
interviews if necessary. Consultants determined to be qualified will be
placed on the Agency's panel of pre-qualified real estate economics
consulting firms by the Redevelopment Commission. When services are
needed, Agency staff will select a Consultant(s) to perform the
assignment based on: (1) the particular expertise of the firm's
available staff to take lead responsibility for the assignment; (2) the
distribution of assignments to date; (3) potential conflicts of
interest; and (4) the response time within which the firm can complete
the task pursuant to the Agency's Purchasing Policy and Procedures.
Personal service contracts will be executed as services are needed.
A pre-submittal meeting will be held at the Agency's offices, located at
1 South Van Ness Avenue on the fifth floor, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday,
August 2, 2007. The meeting will include an overview of the Agency's
current programs and projects and expected consulting services, and
provide an opportunity to ask questions. Although attendance is not
mandatory, it is highly recommended.
Please contact Christine Maher, Development Specialist, by telephone at
415-749-2481 or by e-mail at christine.maher at sfgov.org
<mailto:christine.maher at sfgov.org> to request an RFQ, register, ask for
directions, and/or confirm your attendance at the pre-submittal meeting.
