Zoning Consulting Services
The Town of Ayer, Massachusetts
Submittal Deadline: July 27, 2007
The Town of Ayer Department of Planning and Development, seeks to hire a
Consultant or team of consultants capable of rewriting Ayer's existing
Zoning Bylaw. The Town will require that all elements of the rewritten
Bylaw implement the recommendations of the Town's adopted Comprehensive
Plan Update (2005) and other recommendations as developed by staff,
relevant boards and commissions, and citizens/customers.
This project shall be conducted in three phases. The current RFP covers
Phase I only. See Appendix A of the RFP document for a full description
of the phases of the Zoning Bylaw Rewrite project. Please note that the
consultant, at the Town's sole discretion, may be selected to continue
with future phases of work.
This solicitation is a Request for Proposals (RFP). This RFP is aimed at
identifying one or more qualified consultants, who demonstrate the
capability and proven experience to provide professional planning/zoning
services, to submit a complete project proposal for consideration. If
