Comprehensive Plan Update
The Town of Westerly, Rhode Island 
Submittal Deadline: April 11, 2007

The Town of Westerly, Rhode Island is soliciting Qualifications
Statements from professional planning firms to assist in preparation of
an updated Comprehensive Plan, replacing the current plan that dates
from 1991.  The Town anticipates entering into an agreement with the
selected firm or firms based on a negotiated fee and agreed-upon scope
of work.   The full RFQ is available on the Town's website
http://westerly.govoffice.com <http://westerly.govoffice.com> .  This
project involves preparation of a Comprehensive Plan in compliance with
R.I.G.L. 45-22.2 and should be highly participatory, leading to
broad-based support for a long-term community vision. 

Written qualifications statements are due no later than 3:00 P.M.,
Wednesday, April 11, 2007, submitted to the Operations Officer, Westerly
Town Hall, 45 Broad Street, Westerly, RI 02891.
