AICP has adopted the following policy:
The AICP Commission requests that entities soliciting planning
consultants follow a two-part RFQ/RFP selection procedure. Click here to

Comprehensive Plan Update
The Town of Cheektowaga, New York
Submittal Deadline: April 23, 2007
The Town of Cheektowaga, New York is soliciting Qualifications
Statements from professional planning firms to assist in the preparation
of an updated Comprehensive Plan, replacing the current plan that dates
back to 1992. The Town anticipates entering into an agreement with the
selected firm or firms based on a negotiated fee and agreed-upon scope
of work.
This project involves the preparation of a Comprehensive Plan in
compliance with New York State Town Law, Section 272a. The plan must be
highly participatory, leading to broad-based support for a long-term
community vision. The project is anticipated to take 20 months to
complete.
Written qualifications statements are due no later than 4:00 P.M.,
Monday, April 23, 2007. A full copy of the request for qualifications
