Housing Needs Assessment
The Scott County Housing Council, Davenport, Iowa
Submittal Deadline: April 27, 2007

The Scott County Housing Council, in conjunction with the City of
Davenport, IA, City of Bettendorf, IA, Scott County, IA (Partners),
issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking proposals from qualified
firms or individuals for a Housing Needs Assessment.

The purpose of the study is to provide the Partners with baseline
information that would be useful in evaluating and targeting affordable
housing efforts.  The information can also be used to discuss housing
needs and opportunities with the Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) and various other federal, state, local, and other
public agencies, non-profit and private interests involved in projects
for the community. This study provides information about housing needs
throughout Scott County that can be used to tailor program options and
strategies that meet the unique needs of Scott County and the
communities within Scott County. This is a study that is focused on
providing information about current and future housing needs and the
available supply of housing to address these needs.

The response to the RFP must be received by the Scott County Housing
Council no later than 3:00 p.m., prevailing time, April 27, 2007.  The
statement must be responsive to the requirements stated in the RFP.
