AICP has adopted the following policy:
The AICP Commission requests that entities soliciting planning

Request for Qualifications - Consultant Services
On-Call Services, including Planning & Programming
Ada County Highway District, Boise, Idaho
Submittal Deadline: June 20, 2007
The Ada County Highway District is requesting a statement of
qualifications from firms interested in providing professional services
on an "on-call - as needed" basis. Respondent firms deemed qualified
will be selected to perform work in each the following categories:
* Transportation Planning and Programming
* Roadway, Bridge, Drainage, and Intersection/Signal Designs for
Projects with Estimated Design Values less than $100,000;
* Roadway, Bridge, Drainage, and Intersection/Signal Designs for
Projects with Estimated Design Values greater than $100,000;
* Bridge Inspection, Evaluation, Structural Analysis, and Design;
* Environmental Evaluation and Remediation Services;
* Traffic Engineering and Operations;
* Congestion Management;
* Construction Inspection;
* Hydraulic/Hydrologic Engineering;
* Geotechnical;
* Surveying with Estimated Values less than $15,000;
* Surveying with Estimated Values more than $15,000; and
Respondent firms will be evaluated, selected, and placed on an On-Call
Consultant List for work, as needed, between October 1, 2007, and
September 30, 2009.
Firms shall submit information regarding their general qualifications
and other specific information for each category of interest as required
by the RFQ. Firms may submit a response for one or all of the RFQ
professional services categories.
Responses to this RFQ must be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m., June
20, 2007, to Karl Augustine, Contract Administrator, Ada Coun-ty Highway
District, 3775 Adams Street, Garden City, Idaho, 83714. Each response
received will be reviewed and evaluated by selection committees
established for each professional service category. The firms selected
for inclusion on the On-Call Consultant List will be those firms who, in
the sole opinion of Ada Coun-ty Highway District, are best qualified to
perform the work. The right is reserved to reject any and all responses
not conforming to the intent and purpose of this RFQ whenever such
action appears to be in the best interest of Ada County Highway
District.
