Request for Qualifications - Consultant Services
Transit Village Project
The City of Santa Barbara, California
Submission Deadline: November 15, 2007
Brief Description
The City of Santa Barbara Redevelopment Agency (RDA) and Santa Barbara
Metropolitan Transit District (MTD) have recognized an opportunity to
pursue joint development of a mixed-use project in the 1000 block of
Chapala Street, currently developed with City Parking Lot #3 and the MTD
Transit Center. The RDA and MTD are seeking a qualified development team
to plan, design, construct and potentially own/manage some components of
a transit-oriented development on a prime 1.8-acre site in downtown
Santa Barbara. The RFQ is intended to establish a short list of
qualified developer teams, to whom the RDA and MTD would subsequently
send a Request for Proposals.
