Request for Qualifications - Consultant Services

Bayside Fire Station
Centre City Development Corporation (CCDC), San Diego, California
Submittal Deadline: November 13, 2007

Centre City Development Corporation (CCDC), an equal opportunity
contractor, and the City of San Diego are requesting qualifications from
qualified and talented design teams to provide full design, bidding and
construction administration services for the first of two new fire
stations that will serve the future needs of downtown.  The station will
be located at the southeast corner of Cedar Street and Pacific Highway
in the Little Italy neighborhood.  The working name for this project is
the Bayside Fire Station.

Design team primes/leads are anticipated to be architectural firms.
Subconsultant opportunities could include structural engineering, civil
engineering, geotechnical engineering, mechanical/plumbing engineering,
fire protection engineering, electrical power/lighting engineering, low
voltage data and communication design, energy (LEED) design, acoustical
design, interior design, landscape architecture, cost estimating, and
community outreach.

Proposals from small businesses, disabled veteran-owned businesses,
women-owned businesses, firms owned by underrepresented ethnic groups
and local firms are encouraged.

There will be a Pre-submittal Meeting on Monday, October 29, 2007, at
1:00 p.m. at the CCDC offices at 225 Broadway, Suite 1100, in downtown
San Diego.  Subconsultants are encouraged to attend and network with
prospective prime consultants.

Deadline to submit a response is Tuesday, November 13, 2007, by 4:30
p.m.  Solicitation text and attachments can be downloaded from CCDC's

can be picked up at CCDC (225 Broadway Suite 1100, San Diego, CA 92101).
