AICP has adopted the following policy:
The AICP Commission requests that entities soliciting planning
consultants follow a two-part RFQ/RFP selection procedure. Click here to

Land Use and Economic Development Plan
The City of Fayetteville North Carolina
Submittal Deadline: November 15, 2007
The City of Fayetteville North Carolina, a diverse community of
approximately 175,000 residents, cordially invites you to submit letters
of interest, statements of qualifications, and a firm proposal to
develop and provide a study of the identified area, a comprehensive land
use and economic development plan, and required rules and/or ordinances
to implement the plan. A detailed scope of work, a map of the study area
(approximately 6.8 square miles along a 4.5 miles stretch of Murchison
Road), and other related information regarding how to submit a proposal
and other terms and conditions of this request may be obtained by
request e-mail at champton at ci.fay.nc.us <mailto:champton at ci.fay.nc.us>
or from the city's website at http://www.ci.fayetteville.nc.us/

The deadline for submission is 5:00 PM, November 15, 2007. Ten (10)
copies of the submittal shall be provided. All submittals shall become
the property of the City and the City reserves the right to request
additional information it feels necessary to make a qualified judgment
on a firm's ability to perform the work. The City also reserves the
right to award this contract in part or whole, in the best interest of
the City, and to reject any or all submissions.
