Zoning Ordinance Update
Grundy County, Illinois
Submittal Deadline: October 19, 2007
Notice is hereby given that the Land Use Department is requesting
Request for Proposals to be submitted by 4:00 P.M. October 19, 2007 to
the Land Use Department located at 1320 Union Street the Administrative
Building of Grundy County.
The purpose of this request for proposal is to update the zoning code
such that is reflects the ideals and concepts within the two
comprehensive plans that were approved by the Grundy County Board The
request for proposal packet includes the following:
Introduction:
Details why the requests for proposals are being asked for. The process
for the respondents is briefly outlined.
Description of Services to be Provided by Respondent:
All proposals shall have an analysis of the current code for
deficiencies, proposed zoning changes, and technical information
conveyance.
Instructions to the Respondent:
All respondents shall follow the general rules and conditions set forth
in the information packet. Respondents will be responsible for
informing themselves of the requirements of the zoning code and the
relevance of those sections to the comprehensive planning of the county.
Deadline for all complete submittals will be October 19, 2007 at 4:00
P.M. to the Land Use Department of Grundy County. The County will choose
a proposal but does not obligate itself to choose any of the proposals.
All proposals will be evaluated and become the property of Grundy
County. Each respondent by submitting a proposal acknowledges and
consents to the terms and conditions of this request. All cost incurred
by the respondent are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will
not be reimbursed by Grundy County. A proposal guarantee shall be
provided with each proposal.
