Request for Qualifications - Consultant Services

Comprehensive Plan
The City of Geneva, Ohio
Submittal Deadline: October 10, 2007

The City of Geneva is soliciting qualifications from innovative
consultants interested in preparing a Comprehensive Plan for future
development and redevelopment of the City.  The consultant selected for
this project will assist the City with identifying existing conditions,
future vision(s), and recommended actions to achieve identified
vision(s).  The Plan will address land use, transportation, facilities,
and services, as well as other topics identified during the planning
process.  The Plan will also conform to requirements of a Coastal
Management Assistance Grant Agreement between the City and the State.
Concurrent with, but separate from, this project, the City, adjacent
communities, Ashtabula County, and other entities will undertake a
related, regional project to study the State Route 534 corridor, between
Interstate 90 and State Route 531.

Interested consultants shall submit ten (10) copies of their
Qualifications including, at a minimum, the following information:

*	History of firm 
*	Services offered 
*	Location(s) of office(s) 
*	Names and qualifications of personnel anticipated to work on
project 
*	List of recent similar or otherwise relevant projects completed
or currently underway and 
*	List of clients and references with contact names, addresses,
and telephone numbers 

Qualifications shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly
identified with the words "RFP - Comprehensive Plan", and shall be
addressed as follows:

Qualifications must be RECEIVED at the above address not later than 5:00
PM on Wednesday October 10, 2007.  Late, incomplete, and/or
nonresponsive submittals will not be accepted.

Following receipt of all submittals, the City will review and rank all
submittals, and will select and negotiate a scope of services and fee
with the most qualified consultant.  If necessary, the negotiations will
proceed with the second and third ranked consultants until a consultant
is retained by the City.  The City may elect to interview one or more
consultants during the consultant selection process.  The City reserves
the right to reject any or all submittals.
