Greenway Study
Dauphin County, Pennsylvania
Submittal Deadline: November 9, 2007

The County of Dauphin (Pennsylvania) hereby announces a Request for
Proposals (RFP) for a project consultant to develop a new Dauphin County
Parks, Recreation, Open Space and Greenway Study.

Persons wishing to submit proposals to solicit hire for this work must
do so by November 9, 2007.  In order to qualify for consideration,
applicants must submit four (4) copies of their proposal, and proposals
must be received no later than 4:30 pm on November 9, 2007.  Proposals
must be delivered to:

The chosen candidate will enter into contract with the County of Dauphin
to perform the required work over the coming several months through to
the end of the 2008 calendar year (with an understanding that the work
period might extend to as late as May 2009).

Prospective applicants are highly encouraged to attend the
Question-and-Answer Session that will be hosted by the Tri-County
Regional Planning Commission (TCRPC) on October 3, 2007 at 1 pm in the
2nd Floor Conference Room of the Dauphin County Administrative Building,
2 S. 2nd Street, Harrisburg.  Attendance at this meeting by an applicant
will be considered a demonstration of their seriousness of intent and
commitment to the project.  Applicants from candidates who attend this
meeting will receive greater consideration.
