AICP has adopted the following policy:

The AICP Commission requests that entities soliciting planning
consultants follow a two-part RFQ/RFP selection procedure. Click here to
read a description of such a two-part process in PAS Report 443,
Selecting and Retaining a Planning Consultant: RFPs, RFQs, Contracts,
and Project Management, by Eric Damian Kelly, FAICP. To view more

Request for Qualifications - Consultant Services

River Drive Corridor Plan
The City of Moline, Illinois
Submittal Deadline: May 16, 2008

The City of Moline is seeking statements of qualifications from
professional consulting firms for the purpose of developing a land use
and transportation corridor study for the River Drive corridor. River
Drive runs parallel to the Mississippi River through the Illinois Quad
Cities communities of Moline, Rock Island, and East Moline. The City of
Moline expects that there may be changes in traffic patterns, land use
demands, and infrastructure needs within the corridor based on current
and planned development activity. It is the purpose of this study to
anticipate and identify these changes in order to determine an optimal
plan for the future of the River Drive Corridor. Moline is a community
of 43,768 (U.S. Census, 2000) located in northwest Illinois on the
Mississippi River. Moline is part of the Quad Cities metropolitan area
(Davenport-Moline-Rock Island, IA-IL MSA). A full length version of the
project RFQ is available at www.moline.il.us. On the home page under
FYI, click on "Bids, RFP's & RFQ's."
