Burien Redevelopment Strategy
The City of Burien, Washington
Submittal Deadline: February 4, 2008

The City of Burien is seeking an experienced consulting team to develop
a strategy for redevelopment of Burien's Northeast Redevelopment Area
(NERA) from an existing mixture of vacant, residential and small
commercial land uses to non-residential uses that are compatible with
noise and operations from adjacent Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
(Sea-Tac).  The 162-acre NERA is located between 8th Av. S., Des Moines
Memorial Dr., and S. 138th St.

The selected consulting team must have experience in:

*	Market, economic impact and financial analysis; 
*	Creek & wetland delineation and surveying; 
*	Land use and site master planning; 
*	Infrastructure planning and conceptual design; 
*	SEPA and EIS analysis; 
*	Public outreach and participation; and 
*	Comprehensive planning and associated regulatory and design
guidelines. 

Proposals are due by 5:00 pm, February 4, 2008.  For more information
