Request for Proposals - Consultant Services
Development Regulations Consolidation & Update
The City of Brush, Colorado
Submittal Deadline: February 15, 2008
DESCRIPTION
The City of Brush, Colorado, is requesting proposals (RFP) from firms to
provide consulting services to update and consolidate the City's Zoning
Ordinance and Subdivision Regulations into a single Land Use Code. The
consolidation should incorporate portions of the Colorado Department of
Local Affairs Model Land Use Code and illustrations where appropriate;
it should also be easy to use.
The current zoning regulations were adopted in 1977 and the subdivision
regulations were adopted in 1976. Both sets of regulations were based
on the State's model code at that time and both these documents have had
only very minor changes since their initial adoption. Additionally, the
City has recently completed a major update to its Comprehensive Plan,
including its first Future Land Use Map, and desires to implement the
plan through this regulation update.
