AICP has adopted the following policy:
The AICP Commission requests that entities soliciting planning
consultants follow a two-part RFQ/RFP selection procedure. Click here to

Request for Qualifications - Consultant Services
Water Transportation Feasibility Study and Plan
The City of Seabrook, Texas
Submittal Deadline: March 3, 2008
The Seabrook Economic Development Corporation invites statements of
qualifications (RFQ) from qualified firms to prepare a water
transportation feasibility study for the City of Seabrook. The project
will result in a feasibility study and plan to use transportation over
water to connect various points of interest around Clear Lake and
Seabrook, and may or may not include water transportation extending onto
waterways built on or over land.
Interested firms shall respond in written form to the RFQ and submit
documentation substantiating their qualifications to perform the
services required. RFQ's shall include the following:
* Contact Information - Name, address, phone numbers and e-mail.
* Statement of Qualifications - A statement of the firm's
experience and qualifications relevant to the proposed project.
* Overview and Form of Organization - A general overview and
history of the company, including form of organization, number of years
in business, number of employees, corporate headquarters location, and
the names of principals, officers and directors of the firm.
* Key Personnel - Names of key personnel, their respective titles,
experience and periods of service with the firm, including resumes if
desired.
* Availability - A brief statement on the availability of key
personnel of the firm to undertake the proposed project.
* Project List - List of projects, with a brief description,
completed by firm.
* References - Names and telephone numbers of persons whom the
agency can call for references regarding the firm's past performance,
preferably on similar projects.
The Seabrook Economic Development Corporation and City Staff shall
review qualifications and invite candidates to interview before the
Board in April. Selection of a firm will be based on responses to the
RFQ, reference checks and interview, to be followed with a request to
submit a proposed work program and cost statement.
Please submit ten copies of qualifications to Michele L. Glaser, TMRC,
City of Seabrook, 1700 First Street, Seabrook, TX 77586 by 5 p.m. on
