consultants follow a two-part RFQ/RFP selection procedure. Here's the

Development of a Corridor Management Plan (CMP) for the Lower Patuxent
Scenic Byway
The Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission
Submittal Deadline: July 15, 2008
The Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission is seeking
the assistance of a firm to provide support services for the development
of a (CMP) under the National Scenic Byways Program for the Lower
Patuxtent Scenic Byway (LPSB). Funding for the preparation of the CMP is
provided by the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) from the
Federally-funded National Scenic Byways (NSB) Program and by the Prince
George's County Planning Department under a Memorandum of Understanding
(MOU) dated June 25, 2007. The selected firm will have experience in
development of CMP's under the NSB program. Experience in development of
CMP's and in preservation planning in the State of Maryland is preferred
but not required.
