Senior Affordable Housing
The Lynwood Redevelopment Agency, California
submittal Deadline: July 21, 2008
The Lynwood Redevelopment Agency ("Agency") is requesting proposals from
qualified firms and organizations to rehabilitate and operate a senior
affordable residential property located at 11300 Atlantic Ave.,
("Property"). The Property is a former motel that had been acquired by
the Agency and reconfigured as a (15) unit single bedroom apartment
complex. The Property had undergone rehabilitation work that was later
vandalized. The Agency proposes to select a qualified firm that can
rehabilitate the Property; acquire certificates of occupancy; market the
property to low income seniors; qualify and lease the Property to low
and moderate income seniors; and manage and maintain the Property.
Proposals will be accepted until Monday, July 21, 2008 @ 5pm. Proposals
received after the submittal time will be rejected and returned unopened
to the sender. Proposals are to be delivered to the following address:

Each proposer shall provide six (6) copies of their proposal in a sealed
envelope titled "RFP FOR 11300 ATLANTIC AVE." 
There will be an Open House held on Thursday, June 26, 2008 from 9:00
a.m.-12:00 p.m. and Tuesday, July 8, 2008 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
located at the Property, 11300 Atlantic Ave., Lynwood, CA, 90262.
Proposers are encouraged to attend. 
A copy of the RFP may be obtained from Redevelopment Agency by calling
310-603-0220, x601 or x254 or at www.lynwood.ca.us.
The Lynwood Redevelopment Agency reserves the right to reject any and
all proposals.
