The AICP Commission requests that entities soliciting planning
consultants follow a two-part RFQ/RFP selection procedure. Click here to

Comprehensive Plan Update
The City of Freeport, Illinois
Submittal Deadline: April 11, 2008

Freeport, Illinois, is soliciting proposals from professional planning
consultants to complete a full update of the City's Comprehensive Plan.

The selected respondent must serve a multi-faceted role as a process
advisor, subject matter expert, and master facilitator. The ability to
work with the City's Planning Commission and to lead the development of
the plan update process are essential requirements. Demonstrable, proven
successes in leading comprehensive plan adoptions for highly-satisfied
municipalities is also critical to any competitive candidate.

Proposals will be received by Shelly Griswold, Director of Community
Development, City of Freeport, Illinois, 230 West Stephenson Street,
Freeport, IL 61032, until 4:30 pm on Friday, April 11, 2008.
