Request for Proposals - Consultant Services

Historic Sites and District Plan Amendment 
The Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission
Submittal Deadline: April 24, 2008

The Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission is seeking
the services of a multi-disciplinary Consultant team to assist with the
amendment to the Prince George's County Historic Sites and Districts
Plan. The plan amendment will identify preservation issues and propose
future initiatives, preservation goals, policies, strategies and
guidelines. This plan amendment Request for Proposals requires a
multi-disciplinary approach from a consultant team in order to
accomplish the goals of the planning process. The four components that
are needed are Historic Preservation Policy Review, Historic Cemetery
Analysis, Archeological Assessment and Public Participation. The result
of these projects will be policy recommendations that inform and
reinforce historic preservation goals, policies, and strategies of the
2002 Prince George's County General Plan.
