forwarded email.  If you're interested in smart growth issues and want 
to live and work in the New York area, Staten Island is a great place to 
do planning.  It is one of the fastest growing areas of New York City, 
and has a mix of dense urban, suburban and exurban urban form.  Len 
Garcia Duran, the planning director there, is a great guy.
